Baahubali in Oscar Race: India’s Biggest motion picture Baahubali has created history in indian box office records. and is now adding one more feather to its cap of achievement. Buzz Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce has announced Baahubali as the official entry from Tollywood to Indian Selection Committee. Amol Palekar along with 16 members will select the country’s official entry in the Best Foreign Film category of the 88th Academy Awards.
Haider, Priyanka Chopra Mary Kom, Neeraj Ghaywan’s Massan, Dhanush’s Kaaka Muttai, Umrika, PK. are in the oscar race. According to the chamber, the last Telugu film that made an entry to Oscars was K Viswanath-Kamal Haasan’s Swati Mutyam.
The final selection will be revealed on 25 September.Waiting for the decision of Indian Selection Commitee..
