For the first time ever, a Mega-Nandamuri clash has happened with Mrugaraju and Narasimha Naidu movies and Balayya's film become a runaway blockbuster. Said that, it's content that speaks not just stardom alone. Here is a big feat being pulled up by Kalyan Ram, and we wonder why.
Despite scoring a terrific hit with "Pataas" early this year, Kalyan Ram is having no respite. Flop show of "Kick 2" has stunned him. For that reason he wants to release his "Sher" at the earliest and score big time. Directed by Mallikarjun of Kathi fame, this flick is on floors from a long time. There are re-shoots, heroine changes and new scene additions. Finally the first copy is ready and our Nandamuri hero wants to release it in October.
We know that mega films like Kanche, Rudramadevi and Bruce Lee are aiming consecutive weeks in the Dasara season, leaving the last week for Akhil. So, where will Kalyan Ram push his film now? Solo release will help him big time, but swimming against mega tide is little risky. Still, Kalyan Ram is hell bent on October release for Sher.
