This film is hitting cinemas on September 25th and it features five hotties Akanksha Puri, Kyra Dutt, Ruhi Singh, Satarupa Pyne and Avani Modi in the lead roles. The film is all about their journey from middle class people to bikini hotties.

One of the character played by one hottie in the film is that of a Pakistani lady. She wants to become a big model here in India and lands in Mumbai. In the likes of Meera, Veena Malik and other Pakistani hotties, this is quite realistic. However, this portrayal as per the trailer has upset Pakistan fans and also their government.

The dialogue that Pakistani girls do equally bold work and more than their Indian counterparts is objectionable. It's offending Pak girls and culture, they said. And finally the government of Pak has banned the film. Of course that doesnt matter to Madhur in terms of revenues

15 Crores Over Shot For Debut Film?

For the coming October, one of the most talked big films other than Ram Charan's "Bruce Lee" is Akkineni Akhil's "Akhil". The Akkineni youngster's new look, dynamic acts in action sequences, Vinayak's direction and Sayesha Saigal's cuteness are the main assets of this film. But there is something with the film's business that's being talked about.

Already we have went through the news that few distributors walked out from buying the film in Nizam and other areas. That's due to Nitin quoting some astronomical sum for the film's theatrical rights. Reason for quoting for such hefty prices is said to be over shot budget of the movie. Though they have initially thought that 25 crores would be highly enough to carve this film as a terrific commercial entertainer with all needed ingredients, in the making it has absorbed 15 crores more. That makes Akhil debut target 40 crores and even if Nitin sells the film without profits to distributors, it has to collect 40 crore 'share' to safely float them ashore.

Nitin has however defended the investment, though he didn't spoke about the figure, saying that Vinayak's story needed some posh locations in Spain and Africa and they haven't thought twice to invest on them. We have to see how the final business and film's performance will be upto.

He's Becoming The King Of Background Score

Until a year ago, hotshot music director SS Thaman was under intense scrutiny and faced severe criticism for his stale compositions and lackluster background score. Tollywood music lovers and even some bigwigs in the industry openly suggested Thaman to come out of his monotonous tunes, which were full of his trademark trumpets and drums.

However, things have changed drastically over a period of one year. Thaman seems to have introspected and his compositions are now being widely appreciated by one and all and especially, his background score for some of the recent films has been highly appreciated.

According to Nagarjuna, Oopiri is yet another adventure for him in the film world. The film is a remake of the superhit French film, The Intouchables. It's Official: Mahesh Is Not Breaking Oath

"I'll not do remakes. A character done by someone else never amuses me. I can't repeat it again", says Mahesh Babu, time and again. And he's literally sticking to it.

Today Mahesh Babu confirmed that he has no plans to remake the super hit Tamil film "Thani Oruvan". "As everyone is calling it as a blockbuster, I've watched the film just out of curiosity. It's good. If director Raja has another such fantastic script, definitely I'll act under his direction. But I'm not remaking Thani Oruvan", confirms Mahesh. That makes things clear that Mahesh is not breaking his oath of not starring in remakes.

So, Ram Charan seems to be the only actor in race for the film's Telugu version remake.

Rajamouli Imposes Deadline For Baahubali 2

Usually, ace director SS Rajamouli takes extended time period to complete his films. It took more than 2 years for him to make Magadheera and almost 2 years for Eega. Rajamouli spent around three and half years to wrap up Baahubali- The Beginning. To everyone's surprise, Rajamouli imposed a deadline of 4 months to complete shooting of Baahubali- The Conclusion.

If things go as planned, Rajamouli and team is willing to release the film in July 2016. Already, 40% of production work including a war sequence was shot and remaining portions are expected to be wrapped up in few months time. This will be least time taking film for Rajamouli.

Actually, Rajamouli spends enough time to prepare scripts and train his actors. Since his films comprise of deadly action episodes, every actor should be properly trained in sword fighting, horse riding etc. Additionally, Rajamouli goes for as many as re-shoots for many sequences until he gets satisfactory output. This is in fact causing delays in production.

But, for Baahubali 2, he is coming up with proper plans to wrap up the film in less time. Rather going for re-shoots, he has decided to take extra care in pre-production and production process. As all the actors are toughly trained, it is easy job for them to go any extent in performing action sequences in the 2nd part. They are very confident to accomplish the challenge, so we are!

No rivalry between girls of ‘Calendar Girls’, says actress

Ruhi Singh, one of the five actresses who have key roles in madhur bhamdarkar‘s “Calendar Girls”, says there was no rivalry between them and, instead, they shared a great bonding.

When multiple actresses work on a film, there are often instances when they don’t get along very well. But as Ruhi pointed out, it was different on the set of “Calendar Girls”.

Ruhi told IANS: “I don’t know about anybody, but I can tell about myself that I’ve always been away from competition. For me, there was no victory or loss. I need to perform better than what I did yesterday, a funda which I’ve carried on from the film’s beginning to the end.”

Releasing on September 25, “Calendar Girls” also stars Avani Modi, Akanksha Puri, Kyra Dutt and Satapura Pyne.

What Ruhi especially liked about the film’s shoot was that the camaraderie between the girls went beyond work, and translated into friendship.

“I like them a lot, and I wish all of them all the best for their lives. I’m fond of them and we’re good friends. We enjoyed and had a lot of fun with each other. It was like five naughty kids who have come together, and it was a very healthy atmosphere.

“And when it was about performances, all of us motivated each other,” said the Jaipur girl.

Ruhi bonded best with Avani, whom she considers a “friend for life”. They would help each other in work, indulge in jokes and pull each other’s leg regularly.

The winner of a Miss Universe Peace and Humanity crown in 2014, Ruhi is now only hopeful that her film turns out to be a hit.

“If you indulge in negativity and competition, the final product of film could be affected. And we shouldn’t do that at all. Whenever there is a film with an ensemble cast, all of them do their best so that the product is good. So that’s what we focussed on from day one,” she said

Vidya Balan – I am a proud 36-year-old

Most actresses in tinsel town are not comfortable sharing their age, but vidya balan has no qualms about it! She says’s she’s “proud to be a 36-year-old”.

Vidya, who has been a part of he Hindi film fraternity for over a decade feels that the reason why not just actresses, but women in general too, are wary of revealing their age is because of the pressure to look young in a “youth obsessed society”.

“I don’t think it’s only about actresses. I think we are a youth obsessed society… the pressure on women to remain eternally young is much more. But I say I am a proud 36-year-old,” the “Kahaani” actress told IANS.

The National Award winning actress said that women get worried because “desirability is often associated with age”. But she added that “age is just a number really (and) we should not give anymore importance than that”.

Vidya, who has impressed cine-goers with films like “No One Killed Jessica”, “Paa” and “Ishqiya” besides “The Dirty Picture”, says while she doesn’t “understand” box office numbers, she does become sad if her film doesn’t do well.

“I don’t understand numbers… as long as I know that my films are doing well, I am happy. If the film is not doing well its makes me sad,” said the actress, who last played a victim of domestic violence in “Hamari Adhuri Kahani”.

Deepika Padukone : Ranbir’s a huge star

Actor Ranbir Kapoor might be going through a low phase in his career but his “Tamasha” co-star Deepika Padukone still considers him “a huge star who brings a lot in the film”.

The actress was present at a press conference of Axis Bank here on Friday.

On being asked about working with her former beau Ranbir, whose last few films have not turned out to be hits, Deepika said: “Ranbir is a huge star, we all know that. Everyone has their ups and downs through their careers. I don’t think I am anyone to comment on what he has been through.”

Although both Deepika and Ranbir have worked with “Tamasha” director Imtiaz Ali in different films, this is the first time the two will be seen together in an Imtiaz’s directorial. Deepika calls it “a special project”.

The 29-year old said: “‘Tamasha’ is a very special film for all of us. We have all worked with each other individually in a different capacity. All three of us are very good friends and it was always a dream for me to work with this team.

“It’s been a very special journey and very special film. If it does well, we all will be equally responsible and if not, then also we all be equally responsible.”

“Tamasha” is slated to release of November 27.

Manoj Changed A lot After Marriage?

The Telugu hero in question who said to have changed a lot after marriage is none other than Manchu Manoj, younger son of actor Mohan Babu. After numerous debacles in the recent times, actor Siddharth, is now producing a new movie Jil Jung Juck with himself in the lead role. The surprising fact is that this dark comedy movie will have no heroine.

As Pretty Woman celebrates its 25th anniversary, superstar Richard Gere says the film's timelessness and generation-spanning success cannot be replicated again.

Gere, 66, reflected back on the film that made co-star Julia Roberts a household name, reported Us magazine.

"It's magic. You can't program it. It had some magic in terms of (Roberts), me, the story, the director... It was the time of our lives, it was a time in the universe, it just happened!," he said.

Pretty Woman, which released in 1990, was about a businessman (Gere) who falls in love with an escort (Roberts) he hired to accompany him to events.

"I'm of a certain age where festivals around the world are giving me lifetime achievement awards, and I think it's a little premature!," he joked.

The film grossed USD 463 million worldwide and earned the then 23-year-old Roberts a Best Actress Oscar nod.

Sunny Leone's 'hot' songs incite rape: Rakhi Sawant

Actor Rakhi Sawant, said at an event in Mumbai that Sunny Leone should be banned in India as her work incites people into incidents such as rape.

"On one hand, she is doing advertisements issued in public interest and on the other she is doing sexy songs which are making people hot. Eventually, these people indulge in indecent acts with girls," the 36-year-old Sawant said,

She further said that Sunny should be allowed to work in India only when she is fully covered.

Katti Batti – Over 23,000 photographs clicked for Lip to Lip song

It is now revealed that the newly released song from Katti Batti ‘Lip to Lip’ required over 23,000 pictures of Imran and Kangana to be clicked.

Lip to Lip is the 3rd song to be released from the film, it has received a lot of appreciation from the audiences with more than 1 million views in a week since its release.

The song required the use of ‘Stop Motion Technique’ in order to add an innovative edge to the foot tapping number.
This was the very first time that the use of this technique has been made in India for a Bollywood song.

The Stop Motion Technique required the actors to move by inches each time to depict a slow change in motion as opposed to the previously captured position.

The Director Nikhil Advani, clicked over 23,000 pictures to execute the entire video of the song using this technique, paying attention to minute details.

The song was shot for 3 days and needed Imran and Kangana to hold their stance still untill a sequence of the video was shot to maintain visual stability.

It was due to this technique that Imran-Kangana had to stay glued to each other for nearly 24 hours in order to get perfect stills.

Both Imran and Kangana were extremely excited to innovate using the technique and were co-operative throughout the filming of the video.

The song Lip to Lip has been launched by the makers and the reaction which it has been received on same has been wonderful!

Salma Agha – Challenging job to make films on homosexuality

Yesteryear actress-singer Salma Agha thinks that comedy films like films “dostana” are easy to make, but it is a “challenging job” to make a serious film on a sensitive issue like homosexuality.

Salma, who lent her poignant voice in classic songs like “Dil ke Armaan” and “Fiza bhi hai”, has sung for Indo-Norwegian collaboration film “Dunno Y 2… Life Is a Moment”.

“Anybody can make a comedy movie like ‘Dostana’. If you make a serious film on the subject it’s a hard job,” Salma said at a music interaction here.

“It’s a challenging job for both the actor and director to make a film on such a sensitive issue. You have to be a fine director. Just anybody can’t do that. Portraying a character like this for a normal man is not an easy task to do,” she added.

Salma, who is extremely choosy in singing for films, agreed to sing in this project only on the condition that the music and the lyrics of the song should touch her heart.

Talking about her song in the film, she said: “This song is a Sufi Ghazal, ‘Aaina haseen hua hai, ishq hai ahsaah mein, tere hone ki aas mein’. When I heard the song, I instantly felt as if it touched my soul.”

Another song in the film “Jeena kya hai, jaana maine, jabse tumko jaana” is performed by legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.

Salma, who last sang for a Bollywood film in 1994, said she stayed away from the industry for long for her family and children’s education.

“It was the situation that time I went abroad for my family and children’s education, but now I am back,” she said.

“Dunno Y 2…Life Is A Moment” is a sequel of “Dunno Y…Na Jaane Kyun”. The film is set in Norway, where same-sex marriage is legal.

No romance for Shraddha Kapoor – Farhan Akhtar in ‘Rock On 2’

Bollywood actress shradha kapoor was signed for Farhan Akhtar’s musical drama ‘Rock On 2’, the actress known for her singing skills will also be lending her voice and belting out some numbers. Shraddha Kapoor ‘s fans were happy to see their idol being romanced by Farhan Akhtar.

Recently it was revealed that as predicted Shraddha Kapoor will not be romanced by Farhan Akhtar in ‘Rock On 2’. The ‘ABCD 2’ actress will just be cast as the new member of the band.

Sources said, “It’s not a love story between Farhan and Shraddha at all. She’s just the band’s newest member who sings along with Farhan. That’s it. Prachi Desai who was there in the prequel as Farhan’s wife will continue to do so.”

Sources further added, “Shraddha’s role is more pivotal than Prachi’s. The film will be more about the rock band and will feature more members, including these two.”

Bollywood seems to have a scarcity of new scripts, so the audience has to go through the same rigmarole that was seen earlier onscreen. Salman Khan Films’ recent release ‘Hero’ that marks the debut of two-star kids Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty is a rehash of Subhash Ghai’s film of the name that marked the debut of Jackie Shroff.

The story of ‘Hero’ has a villain Pasha (Aditya Pancholi) who orders his foster son Sooraj (Sooraj Pancholi) to kidnap Radha (Athiya Shetty), the daughter of Inspector General of Police Mathur (Tigmanshu Dhulia). The kidnapping is to force Mathur drop criminal charges against Pasha.

Sooraj does the deed and spirits Radha away to a secluded snowbound cottage, soon love blossoms between the star-crossed pair. They have to face the hurdle of Pasha’s anger and also convince Radha’s father, who is very much against Sooraj. Radha finds support in her brother Sharad Kelkar, who tries to protect her from their father’s ire. We also have television hottie Vivan Bhatena playing the villain in the love story.

Will Sooraj and Radha finally meet? Will Radha’s father accept Sooraj? What will Pasha do on learning about Sooraj’s betrayal? All this and many more questions will be answered in Nikhil Advani’s directorial ‘Hero’.

Sooraj Pancholi has made his mentor proud by working hard on his body, that will fetch him quite a number of female followings. On the acting front, Aditya Pancholi’s son has utilised his father’s genes for action sequences. He has displayed his muscles at the drop of a hat, well why not? As he is a Salman Khan prodigy. Athiya Shetty, on the other hand, looks like a younger version of Sonam Kapoor with her tall stature and those chiseled cheekbones, though she displays better acting skills than the Khoobsurat actress.

Together Sooraj and Athiya have tried to deliver the goods but are dragged by the lackluster script. Tigmanshu Dhulia as the hot shot IG has gone over the top with his theatricals. Aditya Pancholi as the deadly Pasha is an apt choice, for the menace he delivers onscreen with just his presence is truly admirable. Vivian Batena looks too chocolaty to fill the screen with vileness that his character has to deliver.

The Nikhil Advani directorial has the sloppiest script that even the talented newcomers are unable to save. The Cinematography is fine as it captures the beautiful landscape. Songs, on the other hand, are not at par with the original version that had some beautiful renditions, except Salman Khan’s version of ‘Main Hu Hero Tera’.

The ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ does make an appearance, but that too at the end when the audience is just waiting for the whole rigmarole to end. The Khan’s presence does make it worth sitting through the rehashed version

Keechaka - A Trailer Full Of Rapes

Here's a frightening and yet a hard hitting trailer of an upcoming Telugu movie titled Keechaka. The film, which is said to be based on real life incidents, has faced a tough time with the censor board to be passed with even an A certificate.

The reason? Well, the film features a total of 15 brutral rape scenes pictured on the film's protagonist, a Keechaka, and his victims. Starting all with New comers, Keechaka is inspired from the story of a serial rapist in Nagpur who is said to have raped and even killed countless women and young girls.

Reacting about MM Keeravani's retirement in two years, Koduri said, "It was really a big shock for me too. I am mainly thinking of the fact that who would put their best like annayya (Keeravani) do for Rajamouli. I don't think I am the right person to replace him. I am in fact a good composer, but not even 5% of annayya's credibility. According to my view, AR Rahman will be better option for Rajamouli"
Kalyan Koduri also revealed that, if he couldn't work day and night for Baahubali, the movie wouldn't have seen lights on time. "Rajamouli asked me to supervise sound mixing for Baahubali, since he wasn't too convinced with other's work. I worked almost day and night for a month to complete the work. When Rajamouli, annayya and me are watching the final output in a premiere theater in Mumbai, Rajamouli hugged me tightly and thanked me for giving best output. I will never forget the moment. It was my second film with him after Magadheera."
The talented composer has provided soothing as well as mass beats for Hora Hori. The audio was a decent hit. The music director hopes, Hora Hori will give him big break.
